Holy Family N.S. is one of 12 Primary Schools in the country selected to be part of the Restorative Practice Behavioural Model. This is based on the model of Restorative Justice Model where we learn ways to treat people with respect and learn ways to deal with conflict. All our staff will be trained in Restorative Practices which will be great for the teachers,
We have six lucky pupils going to Ljubljana in Slovenia for the first week of December. They are going with Ms Burke and Ms McDonagh. As part of our Erasmus+ KA219 Strategic Partnership, they will be away for 7 nights with teachers and pupils from our other partner schools: Hungary, Germany, Greece and Turkey. Hosted by the staff and pupils of our Slovenian partners,
4th class were on a walking tour of Tubbercurry. Before they went they discussed the different things they might see on the walk. They drew maps of Tubbercurry.
