Champions for Conservation!
Ms. Tuohy’s class have come to the end of their ‘Conservation for Champions’ project in association with Dublin Zoo.
The class completed 2 science lessons on endangered animals and how we must work to conserve all species. They also had a virtual tour of Dublin Zoo where they got to visit 5 different animals, see their habitats and learn a little bit about them. These animals ranged from critically endangered to least endangered. As an extension activity everyone selected an endangered animal to research and create a project on and today we participated in a live Q & A session with Kelly, a staff member at Dublin Zoo.
It has been a very interesting and engaging programme to be a part of and now we are all more aware of how we can help conserve these wonderful animals too!
