Hedgehog Houses - STEM

After much hard work and dedication, the children of 4th class finished building their hedgehog houses. The aim of this task was to create a well insulated hedgehog house that would keep a hibernating hedgehog as warm as possible over the winter.
Once the hedgehog houses were completed we tested each house to see how successful they were. We placed a cup of warm water with a thermometer in, in the middle of each home. The group with the warmest water after 10 minutes won.
