Odd Socks Day on Friday
27th Jan 2024
One of our Amber Flag objectives is to hold a fundraiser for the initiative’s organiser, Pieta House.
On Friday we are having an Odd Socks Day. We will wear odd socks to school to show that it is ok for us all to be different and that children should be themselves. Wearing the mismatched socks is a symbol of uniqueness and to promote acceptance of diversity.
We are asking each pupil to bring in a €2 donation for this fundraiser.
Our Amber Flag Committee brought odd socks into school last week for taking photos for advertising our fundraisers around the school!
