September in 4th Class
The children have settled in very well into 4th class enjoying a month filled with lots of opportunities to learn about each other more through fun games, art, SPHE and Gaeilge 'Mé Féin'.
The children have also been learning about 'Schools in Ireland in the Past' including the history of their own school. They created super projects on the above topic and bravely presented them to the class. To integrate this topic into English, the children then had to write a recount about their 'First Day in Junior Infants'.
In addition to this we have become penpals with a 4th class school in Navan in Co. Meath. The children have enjoyed writing their letters as well as eagerly awaiting their responses.
We have also been doing lots of reading on our visits to the library as well as with 1st class, our Reading Buddies :)
The children have uploaded lots of their lovely work onto their Seesaw account so feel free to look that up!
