So far this term the children have been working hard learning about hedgehogs - life cycle, habitats, the threats that hedgehogs face and why their numbers are reducing. Our aim is to use all of the information we have learned over the weeks and plan, design and build a hedgehog house suitable for hibernation. To do this children have been learning about different materials and their properties.
Take a look at the pictures to see the experiment we carried out in class to inform us of materials that are good insulators as well as some of the children’s hedgehog house designs.
