We have been learning about simple machines and forces in science with a focus on the wheel and axle which has tied in nicely with our topic this term 'The Circus'. Over the past couple of weeks the children were given the task of constructing ferris wheels out of paper but they had to ensure that the ferris wheel turned on an axle.
