World Mental Health Day

Thursday October 10th is World Mental Health Day. 

Here in Holy Family N.S. we will be doing lots of things on October 10th to celebrate World Mental Health Day.

We are encouraging everyone in our school to wear something yellow on the day. It could be yellow socks, a yellow jumper or a yellow scrunchie for example. Yellow is the colour associated with mental health awareness. By wearing yellow, your child can show empathy, support, and understanding for those who may be dealing with mental health challenges. It's a simple yet meaningful gesture that can make a real difference. 

We are also using this day to officially raise our Amber Flag and celebrate our great achievement in promoting positive mental health in our school last school year, 2023/2024.
